Additional Events

We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding day with you, but we also know it will be a busy day, and we want to give ourselves as much time as possible with the people we love! So, if you’ll be in L.A. before or after October 3rd, we’d love to see you at these additional events.

We’re going to be busy getting ready in the week leading up to the wedding—so plan not to see us until Friday evening. But we’re excited to see you after that!

Welcome drinks

Let’s get the festivities started before the big day! All guests are welcome to join us for casual drinks at a brewery.

  • Timing: Friday, October 2nd at 6pm
    • Per brewery policy, guests under 21 will need to leave by 8:30pm. Kirstie and Truman will also leave around that time to get ready for the wedding day, but the rest of you are welcome to stick around as long as you’d like!
  • Location: Arts District Brewing Company, 828 Traction Ave, Los Angeles
    • Find us in the outdoor space on the northwest side of the building (to your right as you enter)
  • Attire: Come as you are! Since our reserved area is outside, dress for comfort in that evening’s weather
  • Drinks and food: Your first drink is on us! The brewery also offers pub food for purchase—or you can head to one of the Arts District’s many excellent restaurants after.

Park gathering

Wind down, say goodbye to other guests, and soak up the California sun at a post-wedding park gathering. All are welcome, including kids and dogs!

  • Timing: Sunday, October 4th from 2 to 5pm
  • Location: Ernest E. Debs Regional Park, 3846 N Riecker Ave, Los Angeles
    • Pavilion 3: We recommend entering on Debs Park Road via Monterey Road. The address above is specific to our reserved pavilion and will take you straight to where we’re sitting, but Pavilion 3 will be the third and last pavilion at the end of the parking lot.
    • Be sure to use this address—don’t navigate to the Ernest Debs Park that’s located in the city of Bell!
  • Attire: Come as you are!
  • Drinks and food: We’ll provide snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. If you’re looking for lunch before or dinner after, the nearby Highland Park neighborhood is full of charming bars and restaurants.
  • Setup: We have three picnic tables reserved and will bring a handful of camping chairs and blankets. There will also be a decent amount of shade from the pavilion and nearby trees. However, if you’re local and have camping chairs, blankets, umbrellas, etc., bring whatever will make you comfortable!

…And beyond!

Visiting from out of town and planning to stay after October 4th? Or local to L.A. but can’t get enough of our wedding week? We’d love to see more of you! Send us a text, and we’ll plan some additional group and/or one-on-one activities, such as meals, coffee, hikes, cultural visits, etc. depending on who’s here when!
